25 in 25 january update
What a month, oof. Between PT not progressing as fast as I’d like, the Mr dealing with some medical meh (but on the mend!), Lil Momma’s tween angst and schedule and sass, work being work, and trying to clean out a house 90 minutes away from my house, these goals may not have been top of mind (or on my mind) as much as I would’ve hoped…
However, January is always a month I kind of plod through so I’m proud of my plodding and am ready for a fresh February start!
1 go on a family vacation somewhere new -Plans are in the works!
2 get through estate planning
3 redo my office
4 read 100 books -I’m at 5/100
5 enter 3 writing competitions
6 reach out to 3 friends I haven’t lately
7 hang pictures on our walls
8 stretch most days -I’m probably at 2x a week
9 cut phone screen time by 50% -I’m down 30%
10 ride 800 miles (bike, spin, doesn’t matter) -I’m at 14.6/800
11 bake 5 new recipes
12 monthly dates with the Mr -We finally have a babysitter lined up and a date night tomorrow (technically Feb but it’s a win!)
13 walk outside (if I can) (tbd)
14 quarterly shouldless day
15 send 25 postcards
16 volunteer 5x
17 monthly girls day with Lil Momma -We did a fun drink and shopping day
18 complete 150 strength workouts -I’m at 12/150
19 eat real food on my in office days -I’d give myself a C here, sigh. I did well probably 70% of the time.
20 take 50 selfies -I’m at 2/50
21 try tuna
22 see 4 movies in the theater
23 go swimming once
24 figure out picture storage
25 average 15 servings of vegetables / week -I’m at 4… which is more than 0…
Here’s to making it through and brighter days this next month.
I feel like 70% of the time deserves WAY more than a C!!!
ReplyDeleteHoping for health in February. The doldrums of winter feel extra hard when there is lots of complicating life stuff swirling around <3
Yay for date night tomorrow! You got a lot done for a "plod" month!
ReplyDeleteI first read that as 15 servings of vegetables a DAY and I thought, Lindsay, four is pretty great! And I will still say that, now that I know it's per week. But for a moment there, I thought "that's wild, fifteen servings a day." I need more coffee clearly.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to hear about your vacation!
January is the starting point! So now you have your baseline figured out and you can use the rest of the year to try and "beat" your original number each month. That's kind of fun for me! I hope it's motivating to you, too.
ReplyDeleteI think you're doing better than I did in January, sigh! You have a good start on things.
ReplyDeleteAlso in PT for a condition they dabbed "teacher neck" lol
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great - January is ramp up month, and you got things done! I want to know more about the fun date with Lil Momma. :)
