I’ve been so impressed by  Daria‘ s Italy recaps that I decided to take a swing and try and recap my wild week. We have our family vacation to  New Hampshire  from Monday through Thursday and then on Saturday I’m actually going away by myself to Maine, which is a trial run or precursor to my first ever solo vacation this fall. Our energy is a little hectic coming off a week where we were trying to do a big computer swap that just left us only with our work computers and smartphones and Lil Mama having some wild antics. But, I have hope that this vacation can chill us out and make some memories, and hopefully be an overall win. Here’s how I prepped : I admitted that I’m feeling a lot of feels  For almost my entire life, but especially the last 5 to 10 years, I’ve spent every vacation or day away worrying about my parents. Things always just seem to happen when I was away and it’s led to a lot of anxiety around being away. This is my first one since losing both of them...

The day there was an earthquake and we go see Moana    6:54 : Wake up with a start and then remember I don’t have to rush today. Consider going back to sleep but then LM comes out of her room.   7:05 : After a cuddle with LM, put on some work from home clothes (t-shirt, hoodie, leggings), go to the bathroom, put in my contacts, deodorant, moisturize, and head downstairs.   7:15 : Yay, coffee! Try to pump LM up for the second day of state testing (forgetting she has 3 sets of it this year, so we have to do this 2 more times)   7:45 : Head upstairs to start working; notice that it’s sunny (!!!) and use that as the lead-in to my daily hello to my team.   9:10 : Go downstairs to say hello to Bella and the Mr. Make my smoothie.   9:20 : Back up to keep working on some slides.   10:02 : Go lay dramatically in my bed to mentally prepare for my meetings.   10:XX : The bed starts shaking back and forth. 5 recap rambles from the weekend that was and a fun blogging challenge for the week that will be!   One  Thanks for all the good thoughts for LM! She was pretty oof on Saturday with a chunky cough and congestion, but  managed to rally for Easter  and went back to school today. (well, that was a fight, but it happened)   Two  Since her babysitter was ok with the cold, the Mr. and I were able to go to the  Murder   Mystery   party  with my former workout friend group! It was  Deadwood themed , so we all dressed up in our best 1800’s Western garb (which was wild) and a couple of friends decorated the house where we met like a saloon! The company we used was called  nightofmystery  and they supplied everything you really need to hold one of these parties (character descriptions, how to “run” the party, costume suggestions, etc.).
